Well, I am Jamie. I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and child of God. I don’t really know how to go about this whole blog thing but I am going to give it my best shot. I am sure if my husband ever reads anything I write he will make fun of me forever.
I got PRK for Christmas so that has been an amazing experience. Which PRK is a variation of LASIK eye surgery. I have never been able to roll over and look at the clock on the dresser and see what time it is, and now I can! At the same time I am not all the way healed so I am typing this with full trust that my fingers know what they are doing. It is definitely something I would recommend for anyone that wears glasses. And the recovery is not bad at all, besides the whole blurriness for about 2 weeks while your eyes adjust.
I am very excited about being able to lay in bed and watch TV or walk in the rain and not have to wipe my glasses off. I could go on with so many reasons as to why I am so excited that I was blessed to have this surgery done, but my husband’s favorite is so he can tell people that he “got me new eyes”. This is one of those things that completely change your life and I am very excited to take advantage of starting a new year with a new set of eyes.
